I wrote this about 2 years ago when things were starting to really go downhill in my last relationship.

You never know what effect your words will have on someone, which is why I'm making an effort to share more of my writing.

I've already had one reader email me and tell me that she really liked my writing and would have commented on it on Facebook, but was afraid her ex would see. THAT is exactly why experiences like this need to be written down and shared. No one should ever make you feel that afraid to express yourself.

I hope this helps someone out. I know reading things like this helped me when I was going through all of that.
